Trip to Hinderer, new spear point XM18 3.5

New to the forums. Stopped by Hinderer today. Awesome visit. Thanks to Rick for a great visit, Rob for setting it up, and all the great people working to produce world class knives.

I picked up a spear point XM18 3.5, natural G10 scales. Rick ground the edge while I watched. Rob popped it in the laser machine for blade marks. I love it. Thanks for your time. You've won a new Hinderer fan and supporter.

That's crazy awesome. Getting one of the first production spearpoints, and watching Rick sharpen it? Super jealous lol. Great knife!

Probably the coolest way to receive your first hinderer. I'm sure it won't be your last! Congrats

Congratulations....!!! Awesome XM and just about the perfect way to get it.........pretty sure there are a lot of guys wishing they could have been in your shoes....!!!
 
I'm really grateful to Rick for his hospitality. It's incredible that an artist of his caliber can make time for a customer who appreciates the craft. It's a keeper, and I'm going to use it well! There will be more Hinderers on my shopping list.
