I was just wondering if anybody has handled one of these, and if so, what were your impressions of it. I've been contemplating getting one, but haven't heard anything about them. Also, how well does the AUS 10 hold up? Thanks ahead for any info.

I had the dagger bladed one for a while. The blade was well done with even grinds and was symmetrical. The action on these is not the smoothest and would not do as a tactical knife. You have to use both hands to open and close, at least I did. I really liked the overall quality of the knife and fit ad finish was above average on the one I had. The aluminum handles are thick walled and lock the blade up TIGHT. No wobble on this one.

All in all I really did like this knife. It would not be an everyday carry piece for me due to reasons already stated. It would be a nice piece to put in a jacket/coat pocket to use if working outdoors.

I was not impressed with mine at all....if you get one, do not try to adjust the pivot, I stripped mine and ruined the knife.

Thanks for the info guys. I had my doubts that it was a viable replacement for a butterfly knife. I think I'll just get a BM 42 instead. Better quality, and it's cheaper.

Its an ok knife but for that price there are better alternatives. If you collect or like unusual opening knives you might get one. All in all a balisong is better especially if your point of reference is the BM 42.

Art Sigmon is right. You cannot open these folders with one hand. I have the Dagger Triple Action folder. It's a nice folder, but at a very high price.

i'll third the opinion ya cant open 1 of these w/1 hand period - unless ya wanna cut the pi$$ outta yourself - looked at 1 at the gunshow this wkend - not really anything practical, to use as a EDC, good only for collectors, or as an outdoors knife IMHO

Thanks for the info guys. I haven't had the chance to handle one yet, but it sounds like I don't want to now. Might hurt myself.:P

I have the tanto version. I don't carry it every day because I have a different EDC. The Triple Action is very easy to open onehanded though. I don't know what everyone is having problems with. It's a great knife. My girlfriend plays with it more than I do. She just ordered the double edge version for herself. Buy one. If you don't like it, you can return it.

I had the dagger version, and it was very easy to open with one hand. I had taken to opening it bali style and after 3 weeks, the handle pivot screw fell out. CS would have done better if they used steel handles or Ti. Aluminum is too soft a metal for their use.

I played once with tanto style, and I hadn’t any problem with one hand opening.I’ve read that new knife has become easier for one
hand opening after some work with. But I really didn’t like the handle,it too slick and can cause serious injury especially if
handled with wet hands. I think it can be good knife if CS fix this problem.
