Triple Aught Design and Strider Knives will be releasing a collaboration project later this year. The experimental model (shown) in the smaller size, regualr size and a larger version will also be available with the same patern.

50 pieces of compact and regular, and 25 of the large size will be available featuring "EB" style g-10 scales, od green micarta, and some in cord wrap.

The final models will closely resemble above pic.

Interesting. The tip kind of reminds me of a Lighfoot. What are the overall lengths on the different sizes.

we will probably have a good mix and match of all the balde options including a few with serrations.

Very nice Pat. Im glad I got to see the knife. I read that you were doing something with STRiDER and couldnt wait to see what it looked like. Good luck and I hope I can raise the money to get one.

What kind of sheath comes with the knife? What is the standard finish on the cord wrapped model?

the TKa will be most likely fashioned with a kydex sheath.

the cord wraps are planned with the TS finish.

Yep, in fact we will have the revised proto, AND we will happen to have our table right next to the Strider table at Eugene; "B-11"

Looks like a LCC Blade + Strider handel

should be a great utility knife

IMHO

that looks great ...

It looks good. I wish I was going to the Eugene show. My friend Josh the Lurker wants one.

Hey sprorts fans!
Thanks for all the kind words. Unfortunately with our current workload, we did not finish the second prototype in time for the show. We will have it done asap and I'm sure Triple Aught Designs will post photos if they like it. All the best to you guys and bear with us,
Duane Dwyer

Hey,

I pre-ordered one of the full-size cord-wrapped beasties. Has the price on that been finalized yet? Also, will any in that size be made without tiger stripes? Thanks.

we plan on having most varaitions available and should be able to accommodate almsot everyone's requests. if you have a very specific variation, drop us a line what it is and we will add it to our PO.

we did have the 1st proto on display on the strider table next to us at the show on Saturday and Sunday.

ps. rfrost we're sorry we did not have it there when you stopped by, but the prototype showed about 30 minutes after you visited our tables. hope to catch you next time!

Pat, was good meeting you at the show. Funny how you're about 10 to 15 minutes away, and we met you 500 miles away ...

I got to see TAD's proto and it looks really good. It might be nice to have a slightly larger handle even on the smallest version ... Great design and really well executed by the guys at Strider.

good to meet you too Rex.

now that you know how close you are to our warehouse, you'll have to visit us.

glad you liked our new Strider model too!
