BK-7SG came in today. That was the last Becker I'd been looking for with any degree of diligence.

Nice knife, nice rig. The Spec-Ops Combat Master sheath has the Camillus tag sewn onto the back just like the BK-77 Extreme. Knife was perfect, and the seller even threw in a new CLP gun cloth, so I was pleased.

According to the Camillus descriptor, by the way, the knife isn't serrated. It's "scalloped." :D

I really like the spec-ops sheath. And the 7sg isn't bad either. I really wanted one, but I decided against it. Will be kicking myself later......

real nice, i just wonder what you had to shell out to get this?

The BK-7SG was $110 shipped. I know that's a lot more than the original price to active duty military. However, figuring regular BK-7s sold for $50 to $60, and this knife included a $40 sheath ($35 plus shipping), I didn't feel too badly about the price. Throw in the fact that it was the last regular production Becker I didn't have, and it was a no-brainer.

There, that's my rationalization. I feel better. How about you? :D

I hate you Guyon ;):D

Nice collection man, great work in finding them

If you mean the green Camillus sheaths, they're probably hard to find.

If you mean the Spec-Ops sheaths (black), they're available from a number of merchants. Just Google "Spec-Ops Combat Master." Comes in two sizes--small and large.

The large fits the BK-7 pretty well. The small should fit the BK-10 nicely. However, I don't think Spec-Ops makes a larger sheath for a 9" knife.

I have found three more of these nib with spec ops sheaths. PM me if anyone wants to know the source.

I'll take your hatred as a compliment. :D

It really was work tracking them all down, but I'd glad I did it when I did. Some of the Beckers have more than doubled in fleaBay price since I grabbed my sets.

actually, that was such a sweet looking rig, in your photos, and the sheath alone, i DIG that stuff, well, i had a paypal balance and i saw there were three for sale, same price, and nabbed one for me :) yar.

well, no more paypal balance... but a scalloped knife is mine.

ETA:
oh, and same guy has 3 BK2SGs - woo. act now or be doomed for all time :)

and no, i'm not selling anything. i'm a collector. not making money on this - that's why i work. well, talk to me in 10 years ;) when i'm retired ;)

Congrats on picking up a hard-to-find variant.

The question? Do I get another?

So far, I have two of everything else.

Hmmmmm......

It was the spec ops but the green ones work well enough so i will probably just keep using them.
