I had three finish up at once.
I recall reading somewhere that 1/3 of the time spent on a project is just looking for tools. That would be great if I only spent a 1/3 of my time looking or setting up so I tend to work on more than one at once. These have to be similar or there isn't any efficiencies - for me anyway.

All are ATS-34 treated by Paul Bos and stabilized wood by WSSI. Each has its own color liner. All are pinned with 303. I need to make sure I use 416ss pins on the next batch so they blend in on the bolster a little better. This seems to bother some people if the pins in the bolsters are visible. The bottom knife bolsters are nickel-silver. This stuff is a dream to hand sand/polish but scratches by just looking at it hard.

The top blade is sabre ground, the bottom two are hollow ground.

The scales from top to bottom: Maple burl with some spalting - I wish I had more of this. Really dramtic figuring with strong colors. The middle is Amboyna burl. I like the rich color more than the figuring of this wood. I'm getting more of this to play with from the Lumber Lady. The bottom is black ash burl. I find the figuring attractive but a bit too mottled for my taste and will probably avoid it in the future.

Tops of the blades. The bottom two show dovetail bolsters from the jig pic I posted last week. The sheaths are 7/8oz leather dry formed and glued around a kydex sheath. This makes for a dandy snap-in fit with the traditional leather look I prefer. It also allows long term storage in a sheath with out the problem of leather stains on the blade. The belt clip is glued (inside) between the kydex and leather and also riveted.

Three great pieces, every one of them looks like a winner. Nice blade shape and gorgeous wood on the handles. The kydex lined leather sheaths are a smart way to go as well. The pins don't bother me at all. Good job! :)

Very hansome looking knives. They look sturdy and very well made too. Looksw like an excellent fit on the scales, liners and pins. Nice stuff !.....RDT

Those are great looking Blades...I like the idea of the Kydex lined leather sheaths also,In fact after the holidays I was planning on doing some experimenting with it myself..
Again they look incrediable.
