Tritium key fob

Hell yes they are. Especially if you keep a flashlight on your keychain. Find your keys in the dark, find your flashlight in the dark, etc.

I really need to get a new one. I had one with an acrylic container, which broke, and never replaced it.

View attachment 707220 The TUKK is offered in brass and Ti. The utility/hobby blade is held in retraction by a magnet.

Hi any internal pictures of the magnet & how it works.
I'm interested in purchasing one of these or the XL but unsure on how good the blade is in controlled by a magnet.
Wouldn't want it dropping out in my pocket for instance .

Pictures of the TukkXL would be fine also if need be.
Thank you

The magnet is very strong. Even if you swung the knife over your head, I don’t think the blade would come out. The blade when extended is only held in place by your thumb or lack of gravity.

I've had one that I bought about 8 years ago. The half life of tritium is 10 years, so presumably after 10 years it will glow half as bright when it was new. However, mine still seems plenty bright.

But, it will only be noticeable in the dark if your eyes are adjusted to the darkness.
