This is for those of us who like that little green glow...

First step is to cut a length of 5/32 Aluminum tubing

Next clean the edges up with a few passes on fine sandpaper

Next to center and hold a 2.5x10mm tritium tube in a much larger inner diameter tube. How to create a cheap spacer while maximizing the amount of glow? I chose to use a wrap of aluminum foil. Cheap, easy, and will maximize glow by reflected light.

I make a thin waist of foil to keep as much tube exposed as possible on both ends.

Fill up one end of the tube with Norland 61 one drop at a time from the end of a broken toothpick. I make it slightly convex at the top to magnify the appearance of the tritium tube end.

Then hit it with some UV to cure the N61 and flip the tube over to do the other side.

Tomorrrow I'll finish it but I'll leave you with this conundrum: At this stage if I drop the aluminum tube in the lanyard hole it will fall right through. How would you secure it so that it sits perfectly centered between the scales, won't fall out, but is not glued or otherwise permanently attached to the knife?
Thanks for reading.
