Troops welcomed home.

I am made both happy and sad by this....happy that the Aussie troops received the homers the deserve and sad we don't see the same reaction in the US.

I am a veteran and I make it a point to thank all I see in uniform for their service and sacrifice.
 
What do you mean you don't see the same in the US? Every time the troops come home, they are greeted by howling applause and warm greetings. Every time they walk down the street in uniform, they are stopped every five feet and given greetings.

Don't mistake the will of some people to stop a war for a dislike of those who are ordered to fight it.
 
They had a pretty good record over there. Good to see.
