Anyone else having trouble getting on the home forum. All I get is:

I get the same.

I also got an error when I placed my order for the SS. On the order confirmation screen, there was a quick error that I caught just before I closed the screen. Somthing about not being able to recieve a confirmation email. I think the order went through though. I'll call later today or tomorrow.

Something is amiss, I got the same thing. Did you guys email Jennifer? I will if you didn't, but if you did I will refrain, she probably has an inbox full of email about it already.

No, I don't have any luck sending emails to bright.net for some reason.

I sent an email last night about the failed order confirmation messages, so they know about those at least. Amy responded this morning confirming my order was placed. They may not know how wide-spread the problem is, though.

Per the error messages, I just sent an email to jenniferbusse@bright.net, but I'll also post my suggestion here in case that email address is obsolete. It's just a guess on my part, but I suspect that there's an ultimatebb.cgi config setting containing the Regular Expression [a-Z], which is an invalid range for Perl REs, but [a-zA-Z] might work.

Huh??? :D

Perl rocks...a close second to INFI, that is!!

Regular Expressions are pattern-matching definitions that programs use to validate and manipulate text. The Modules/vars.pm file extension tells me that the error is happening in that Perl (language) module, and the rest of the error indicates that the call actually occurs at line 56 of a program named ultimatebb.cgi. I'm a Java programmer in real life, but have a little exposure to Perl, so was trying to help track down the problem.

You guys that know all that stuff amaze me. It may as well be in hebrew as far as I am concerned. :D

There are 10 kinds of people in the world,

those that understand binary and those that don't
.

Not entirely on topic, but it's the best that I could do on such short notice.

I'll check with one of my hacker friends for a more appropriate joke.

He always helps me out when I have a PIC.

NOW THAT WAS FUNNY!!!! Can't believe I never heard that one before...and I live in Silicon Valley!!!

Saying that Java is nice because it works on all OS's is like saying that anal sex is nice because it works on all genders

There is no place like 127.1.0.0

Not related to any of the Busse servers, but has anyone had a PEBKAC error?

I keep getting told that by my buddy,

he says that it's either that or a PIC I gotta pay him before he'll narrow it down any more.
