Trouble Posting Images From Imgur: Any Ideas?

I have been using imgur links to post pictures since the server storage issue came up last year, even after Spark migrated servers. I figured imgur worked just fine and didn't want to eat up the new storage space.

But for a week now, I've been getting this message when trying to post images using the imgur bbcode:

I haven't changed anything about my process: I use the imgur mobile app, upload images, find the sharing link/bbcode for the photo I want, paste the link where indicated, then get the error message above. I have tried to find alternate links from imgur, but the mobile app only presents one link:

Has anyone else had this issue and/or have any suggestions for a solution? I reckon I can just post photos directly from the gallery in my phone, but I'd rather not burn up BF server space unless there's no alternative.
 
What kind of phone?

IIRC, some folks have been having issues with the Imgur Mobil app.

It's a Samsung, whatever was the newest version a year ago. S24+ or something. I'll see if there's an update to the app software.
 
I had the same problem, I made a new Imgur account as a workaround and it worked until it started having the same issue, now I am just attaching photos here directly
 
Used postimages for quite a while but then it stopped working (it would seem like it worked, but then the images wouldn't actually show). Switched to ImgBB and so far so good.

A few times I thought pics disappeared, or stopped working.... Then checking a few days later, they were up and working.
-maybe that happens during an update?
 
Welp, I uninstalled the imgur app then reinstalled it to no avail. I couldn't find any available updates, so idk what's next. Maybe an account with an alternate image host.
 
You can skip Imgur if you just want to upload a picture and just select the “attach files” button and then select the picture from your photo library. Last, choose the option to upload the full image and it will upload.

I use Fotki for my images and once or twice in the past year I have experienced similar issues that took a day or two for them to sort out. Some problem their end that they needed to deal with.
It sounds like you might be experiencing something similar. See if they get it sorted after the weekend.
 
FWIW, I use Imgur on a desktop machine. I access it via a browser. I do not have issues posting pictures.
 
Thanks, all, for your input. I'll keep troubleshooting and may submit a ticket with imgur support. I'll post up here once I get it sorted out.
