I just got a Calypso Jr and I'm having a hell of a time switching the clip from right to left hand carry.

The screws seem to be in there really good, any suggestions on how to loosen them up so I can switch the clip?

Heat will loosen the threads. I use a soldering iron with small tip,,,touch the screw head and heat it.

I always carefully use the grippy pliers of my LM Pulse to loosen the screws on their first turn. It hardly leaves any marks.

I didn't have too much trouble with the knife but other times I've put a screw driver in boiling water to heat the screw a bit. It depends what lockthread spyderco used

Would suggest not using heat, or using it VERY carefully (as in Andy L's suggestion) on an FRN Calypso Jr. Best thing is to find a screwdriver that is a perfect fit for the screw heads. If you don't have one, take the knife with you to the hardware store and keep trying drivers till you find one that feels right. Then put the knife on a hard flat surface. press down real good on the driver and turn it slowly clockwise just a hair, as if you wanted to tighten the screw, then reverse direction.
