Hello everyone from the buck knives forum,
Long time reader and collector of buck knives but first time poster, I fell in love with the brand when I was a boy and my dad let me use his 102 woodsman.
Beeing a native of San Diego, most of his knives came from the El Cajon factory, and frankly, why would you look anywhere else!
I'm seeking your advice about my 50th anniversary 110:
I put it over a heater to dry it out after washing it and one of the dymonwood scales has slightly lifted from the frame and bolsters, leaving a gap along the frame on the side the blade folds in and rising at the bolsters.
It's only cosmetic but the knife came perfect from the factory, is there anyway to make it right again?
I didn't think something as tough as dymonwood would be affected by moderate heat.
Thank you in advance for your help!
