Trouble with photos

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? When I attempt to make a post here, and go to add photos, the link button doesn't seem to be working. I traditionally link my photos from Photobucket, and I've never had any trouble with that. Occasionally lately I see an Attach files button near the bottom of the post window, but not all the time. If something has changed with BFs, please let me know so I can continue to share my treasures with everyone.

Try the "insert media" icon and paste in your link. If I'm on my phone, it's in a sub menu that you access by clicking on the second set of 3 dots. Hope that makes sense!

If I use what appears to be the photo link in the "main menu" I can't make it work either, so I don't know what that's for. Went through this a couple of days ago.
 
Thanks, Skinner79. I'm not sure which icon you are reffering to, but as of opening your response, the icons were all dark and inactive. Though oddly enough, as I write this, the seem to be working again. Hopefully it's fixed now.

You probably have BB code on. Click on the icon that looks like this [ ]. That toggles BB code.
 
Click the little photograph icon (the tiny mountain looking one) when posting, and use the "direct" link url from your image host.

Whatever kind of device you have? There may be an app for that. Look for a picture/file sharing host. Prefreably one that is NOT porn related. You can use imgur.com, flickr, or any others. There are tutorials online on the "How To" part, search for it. In the mean time, searching here for...
