Just got done sharpening a blade made of 440. The 440 is questionable though blade has no markings on it but 440, but I like the knife so it doesn't matter.

I tried to re bevel it down to 15% but this was taking forever so I raised the angle which did the trick. My question to you my fellow forumites is how to get the tip sharp? It has a spine running from the end of the blade to the tip
Now I'm not saying the tip is dull just not as sharp as the rest of the blade. I forgot to mention that I'm using an Apex set at 20%. I figure I'll re bevel it down to 15 with future sharpening.

I have watches Ben's video and how he pulls the blade around the guide clip and don't like it cause I'll probable screw it up that way. The blade is about 4 inches long but has a spine running all the way from the hilt to the tip which made it difficult to sharpen in the first place (alot of rocking)
thanks, armilite
