Just picked me up one of those Airsoft knock offs. This one is a replica of a Walther P99, (even though I have no real interest in owning the real thing) hehehe...this is fun...I already got the floor littered with little yellow plastic pellets. Not powerful enough to perforate cardboard, but I betcha it'd at least leave a nice welt if it were misused.

Anyone taking bets on how long it takes before the wife starts chasin' ME down with the damn thing? (Gawd how I piss her off playing with my toys!) This oughta be fun while it lasts...

Just don't go chasing any of those big old Alaska bears with that little shootin' iron.:D.

Gun? I don' need no stinking gun! I'll kick it's a$$ bare fisted!

Thankfully, it hardly hurt by the time I was chased down with it. The velocity is nowhere NEAR the implied 220+ FPS or the 100 yard range.

Hehe- that's the first thing my wife said; "I'd better not be picking up little plastic balls all over..."

They are kinda fun, but I was dissapointed with the accuracy of my Glock replica.

Is it spring powered or gas powered? The gas have a little more power. They make some full auto ones that use a gas system like a rechargeable butane lighter.
They're cool but the can of c02 costs $20
and refills the gun about 15 times, Each time you fill the mag up with 50 pellets you have to charge it with gas. I don't know where they, (the manufacturers), get the 100 yard figure.

they probably lube it up, give it a full charge(as much as the seals will take) and crank it up to 45deg arc... and measure the lob.
