Very pleased with this build. Got to use up a next to useless CPM154 off-cut and some Sambar antler that was too small for what I usually build. Off-cut had to be thinned down from a heavy 3/16 to 1/8 to suit the knife.

Blade is hollow ground and has a full tapered tang. Finish is hand rubbed 600 grit.

Guard and pins are 416 stainless, lanyard tube is 300 series stainless.

Sambar scales have black fibre liners. Over all length is 8 inches with a 4 inch blade.

Really want to catch a trout now.

I particularly like the elongated trapper style blade profile. Came about by chance as I was grinding the profile. Thought "that looks very old world, I'm going with it"
