I had a few pic left on my roll of film so I thought I would take some of the BOB I keep in my truck

Great kit! I will add 1 Cooleman stove (work with unlead fuel), a compact cooking pot, a MSR waterfilter (miniwork) and a DMT buterfly diamont sharpener. (and if autorized where you live a 22 LR rifle with a brick of ammo):D
 
oh yeah I forgot to add I do have a DMT double sided sharpener, aqua tabs and a esbit stove
 
Looks like a pretty good kit. I'd add some medical gear. Items like any personal meds that you take including vitamins. Some over the counter meds to get you buy for a few days like pain, Imodium AD, benedryl, flu/cold remedies, and pepto. I'd also add some super absorbant Kotex, and other dressings for serious injury and smaller dressings and topicals for the minor stuff. Water will be a major need in the event of a TEOTWAWKI or SHTF event. So, unless I missed it, which is entirely possible, 5 gal of water would do nicely. Need to feed that beast you're in too so an extra 5 or 10 gal. of fuel and some oil and extra parts would work for me too. A lot of words, but the extra items actually don't take up much more room.

I also have some personal items and a couple of good books, like your medicinal plants book, along with coffee and tea to help me to cope not only physically, but spiritually, emotionally, mentally and ecologically.
 
lol...I am forgetting everything. I have a first aid kit with alot of aspirin, vitamins toothpaste etc. You cant see it but I have a 5 gallon water container and a 5 gallon gas can,axe,shovel hi-lift jack,tow strap,a complete set of tools and some spare parts and etc in the box
