I was thinking of using a can of the aerosol spray on truck bed liner to give my edit a little more grip, has anyone ever messed with the stuff or do you have any recommendations? I was originally going to try to see about getting some g10 scales to match the hyper and m-type, thanks

You could try some grip tape. The stuff used by skateboarders to ruffin up their boards.

If you don't like it you can always remove it.

Skateboard tape is easy stuff and commonly used on gun grips. Truck bed liner is also commonly used but they come in varying styles. Some are more rough and knobby while others come out a little more smooth, hard rubber (spray technique also determines finish).

If you do go with bed liner, roughen surface like you would for painting.

Aloha Spenceds,

WHOA...DO post pics should you go the bed liner route!!! I was thinking of that when the SFB first came out, but never had the guts to attempt it.

Skateboard tape is great stuff...I use it on all the clips of my "user knives". Heck, I even placed a small strip of it on my SFB sheath near the thumb area to get more grip when popping the knife out.

Either route you take, pics are mandatory!!!
God bless and enjoy!!!

I get back from honeymoon/vacation tonorrow and I think I will look more into it this week and if i decide to i will do it this weekend, I am also going to modify my sheath by dremeling of a bit that covers the hanle and attach a rare earth magnet for retention that will fit between the sheath and a mini tek-lok that i will order in a few days, so i will keep you all up to date and post pics when i am done.
