True Confessions: Who Got This One?

I wish I had it in my collection... That Dallas PD etching is hard to find... It looks like the Black etch one... I sure would like to have the Gold etch one more...

So Aurum did plain black as well as gold?

Do you think the weird lighting in the pics was intentional to make it look gold?

Might have an unhappy customer although they'd have to be crazy to spend that much without asking the question.

Wonder what the gold one would go for?

BG, they did Black and gold...
They made 290+ of the Black etch ones...
They made only 72+ of the Gold etch ones...

I email the guy and he told me it was the Black etch one... It's a lot of $$$ (), for sure... ITE ...

Thanks, ITE.

Yeah.....the gold one might be worth it's weight in.......gold.

:)

I was also eyeing that one. I have a few of the PD type Buck's, when the price was at $150 it went out of my range....then when it topped $400 I fell off the chair....it's cool but I'm no fool!!!!!!

Looks like 2 people wanted this knife pretty bad, both bid over $400.00. We are in a struggling economy aren't we?
Harold

Many struggle, but many live high off the hog.

That's the way it is......I don't see much chance for change, as much as we've tried to get it.

Some body said, "The more things change, the more they stay the same."

True.

Oh, yeah........sometimes people will make a crazy high bid thinking nobody else will bid anywhere near that high and they will get it.

But.......when two people use the same crazy-high bid strategy......there can be a collision of crazy.

Looks like this was one of those.
