I just rec'd this blade from Scott. It is a PSK Jr. with Mini-Tusker style blade. it is only 1/16" thick (really no need to go thicker for slicing duty) and very light weight. With the sheath I made (able to be worn on a belt or with lanyard) It weighs about as much as a few .308 rounds. This blade will compliment my Gossman Bolo and my Polaris nicely. Looking forward to using it while teaching courses this summer.

That explains the email picture you sent earlier. I remembered Scott talking about your design. Well, how is it besides the lightweight?

The handle slabs are 3 5/8" long. The blade from tip to handle slabs is only 2 1/2" long. Cutting edge is 2 3/8" long. Handle is rounded and overall thickness is 1/2". Whole knife is 3/4" wide.

She is starting to develop a good patina already. Will have a substantial color change after this week's course.

Thanks Kev, be great if you could post some pics from the course !;)

Scott,

The plant course just wrapped up but I couldn't be there for it. A packed basic course starts tomorrow (Sun.) and goes through Sat. There is a week off then another basic and the advanced back to back. Jerry will be up there for that and it will be the most intense yet.

Pit,

I will definitely add pictures here on BF and FB.

Kevin how about calling it the "NANO TUSKER" ? Smaller than the micro yet the same design lines.
