eye ridges refer to the vertical lines inside the eye, in theory theyre supposed to hold the head on there and stop wiggling, but im not sure if they work. they dont hurt anything though and theyre still good heads, probably the last such made in the golden age of american axesSchool me. What are "eye ridges"? As I have a similarly marked single edge that was recently re-hafted and "tuned"by Heath Creek Forge.
Please explain "tuned"recently re-hafted and "tuned"by Heath Creek Forge.
Dressed up/cleaned up the poll, sharpened, thinned the edge to make it more of a chopper instead of a splitter. Please explain "tuned"
