I am curious as I was fortunate enough to luck into one recently by accident. I bought a small classic with what I thought was aftermarket file work on the spine of the blade in place of the jimping. The previous owner bought it second hand or traded into it and had no idea about the file work. He also assumed it was aftermarket. I showed it to Anne Reeve at BLADE show this year and she suggested it was done in their shop. I sent it in for spa treatment recently and they confirmed and documented it for me. CRK has no record of how many were done like this but I have never seen another. Has anyone here seen another?

Here's the thread where mine was discussed previously.

I figured it would be cool to start a thread for people to show their truly unique or one-off CRK folders.

Whatcha got?

Does a unique graphic count:) If not I don't have any contributions except a congrats on your find!!

Thats prob the coolest thing ive seen CRK do next to a custom pivot or spacer...really like!

I have never seen another one like it personally. That said one thing I really like about CRK is that they're willing to customize a knife for you if you're willing to part with it for several months. Of course, you have to have a reasonable idea of something you want to do to your knife that they have the equipment to do. But outside of that really all you need is a good imagination and a little bit of cash. As such, there may be a lot of unknown "one-offs" out there.

It's weird though as much as I watch this forum and a couple of others I've never seen another CRK with file work like this. CRK stated they did "a few of them" but they don't have any record of how many or what knives they did similar work on. I don't know if it was a small run or just a couple of one-offs. Either way, I love it and due to it being so unique it has become a "keeper" even though I carry a large more frequently than I carry it.
