Wow, got excited and posted in the wrong spot. Good habits are hard to break. Anyway i just pulled the trigger on a BK2 and i have you guys to be "mad" at for helping me lighten up my wallet.:grumpy::D

Pics or it ain't real. Congrats though.

Edited to add:

I saw your note about pictures in the other thread.

Pics are easy. Sign up for a free account at a host site like Photobucket or somesuchwhere.
Upload your pic to the host site.
The code for posting the pic here is simple.

part) and lose all the spaces.

That's all there is to it. Photobucket has that code all ready to just cut and paste.
Oh, make sure the pics are a reasonable size. No one likes it when the picture is 4000 pixels x 4000 pixels and takes up four screens.
Photobucket has a feature where you can edit (crop, resize, etc.) pictures before you post them.

I usually do mine at 1000 pixels wide. I used to do 800, then 900, and it just kept creeping up as monitor resolutions got better and better. 1000 may be too wide for some older screens, or for some folks who zoom their screen view. However, that's what I use.

I've also been using Picasa for some other photo storage. That site automatically compresses to a 1024 x 768 pixel maximum, about what some folks recommend for a decent 4x6 (or 6x4, depending on how you look at it) print.

As a gold member, I think you get so much attachment storage here at Bladeforums. That's another way to post pictures, and if you want, I can run you through that process. I think the max for BFC is 800 x 600 pixels and no more than 100 MB file size.

My beef with sites like Photobucket or Imageshack is that they give you a very limited bandwidth. For instance you post a pic in here, and if more than like 20 people look at it, the bandwidth is used up and they show their "This image has exceeded it's bandwidth quota cause we are douches" pic. Using Flickr, while a little more elaborate in the setup, has never exceeded it's bandwidth on me, and my pics have always shown up, even years later. Now my pics never are bigger than 1000x800 px (which I believe is the max size limit in Flickr) but that is a fairly decent size I think for most pics anyways. Either way, best of luck to ya.

I've never had that "bandwidth exceeded" thing happen with Photobucket, at least to my knowledge.
Some of my Becker images hit the top page on a Google Image search, so I know more than a few folks have seen them.
Of course, my Photobucket account is pretty durn old. I wonder if I got grandfathered somehow. Doubt it though.

ETA: Looking at the account, I see I'm at 59% capacity and 91% of bandwidth. So I guess it could happen soon enough. Fellas, stop looking at my pictures, okay?

Photobucket Pro is only $25 a year. I'd probably go that route instead of migrating all the pics to a different site. Or I might just open a slightly different (free) Photobucket account and put pics there. Older pics aren't viewed as much, so the bandwidth issue should subside after a while.

More... I see now that the Photobucket bandwidth resets each month. I've been pretty busy this month and posting quite a few pics, so I'm not even going to worry about it. If folks find my images gone, just picture me using my "Picnic at Ascot Backpack For Two" in your mind and wait till the first of next month. :D

Eh, I post tons of pic and I have exceeded bandwidth, but it resets and you get it back later, so, I just don't worry about it. For free, I ain't bitchin'.
