try-out strap-sheath in saddleleather

strap-sheath in 2,5mm saddleleather, antique red ,handsewed with synth. sinew.

I like it! A unique take on that design, well done. :)

The knife I like as well, very pointy.
 
I love the angles on the body, love the dye too.

Is the steel pretty secure? I drill a hole through the handle and run elastic cord through it to loop the bottom of the rod. I also put a little GI can opener on the cord for a striker. I've seen small pieces of a hacksaw blade used as a striker as well.

the secure part is under the brass handle, there is a little flap you can put up (see pic) so the firesteel can't come up. but it has to dry first.
