i've been making knives for a bit now and recently I acquired a passion for art knives, so I decided to take my knife making into a different direction and get more into the art knife world.
After a bit I decided to make a dagger and thought i'd share my process
(i am no expert and a lot of the things i do might be wrong and it's no art knife, it can't compare to some of the amazing work that's out there, but i am self thought and I try to do my best with it)
this is also my first time doing a hidden tang and such a big dagger

First of i started with a skecth and traced out what i need to cut
making it out of 1095 steel because i wanted to give it a nice hamon at the end

Blank is cut out and ground do shape
I really wish i could forge my own blades and hopefully someday i'm able to, but for now i gotta do the stock removal method

Rough grinding of the bevels and decided to add the two holes
i'll fix the plunge lines and grinds once the blade is heat treated

Here i'm making the hole to fit the guard
going with Titanium
decided to do this process before the heat treat

Ready for heat treat and hopefully a nice hamon is gonna turn out
(fingers crossed)
