Well I got the Nalgene Guyot/GSI Cup combo recently and had only used it for coffee. I took the cup out last week and made some coffee over the campfire.

I forgot to bring the Guyot on this one, but I was only going to be using the GSI Cup to make the coffee....

I haven't done much campfire cooking so I though I would start out simple with some Ramen!

BTW: Sorry for the fuzzy pics, I only had my cell phone with me....

These guys got to come along for the fun...

I forgot to take a picture of the wild onions that I dug up and added to the Ramen! I only used the bulbs and crushed them like you would garlic and let them cook along with the Ramen...

Ramen is a good food to have when cooking over a fire. I usually add just a little bit of beef to add some flavor, but it is all good.

Cool pics, even if they are fuzzy lol. I like my GSI cup too, I keep flavor packs from ramen in my pack to make a flavored warm drink in the cold months.

Yeah I don't have a great camera right now so the old camera phone will have to do for just a while longer! I hadn't thought about keeping the flavor packets....Thanks MW!

I have heard of people adding some jerky to flavor it up.....Might give that a try one day!

It does add a good flavor to it. Chicken Ramen with beef strips tastes much, much better than it may sound. (I thought it wouldn't be good at first)

I haven't tried with beef Ramen -- I prefer the Chicken ramen.
