Trying out the Sarsquatch

I figured I've got these big choppers that I havn't tried out yet and at least one of them needs some character marks.

The only trees around my place are palm trees and cutting one down would probably get me in trouble . So I pulled this 1 1/2" hardwood rod out of one of the closets (what does a bachelor need 2 walk in closets for anyway?).

It cut through it in under 30 seconds (guestimate) going at a regular pace. I thought I'd have some cool before and after pictures of the Sarsquatch but its more like before and before pictures. Didn't do anything to it.

Guess I'll have to wait till the next camping trip to see what this thing can really do.

cool picks Bro.

Maybe we can chop some stuff tomorrow ?

Where is the sheath

:D:D:D

The sheath is so refined it deserved a refined setting...like a place setting at tonight's dinner.

For those interested: 100% grass fed ribeye marinated in soyaki, grilled asparagus glazed in olive oil, and my favorite...baked tomatoes topped with parmesan and breadcrumbs. Man am I a good cook

And of course the meal wouldn't be complete without a cold beer. :D

I'll bring it over tommorrow and we'll see what we can tear up. You said 7 am right? :p

Virgil's Bavarian Nutmeg version is the best f-ing rootbeer on earth, I think. a personal fave of mine.

and a fine meal all around.

well done.

Great pics. The sarsquatch looks like a great user. But I'm still not sure wether I like that false edge. I think this would be a problem while battoning. Enough whining I still need to get me one of those.:p

7am are you friggin nuts !!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you show up that early ever you better have some of that food with you !!!!!!

I am not a big fan of false edges and flat out hate clips, but the SSQs false edge helps with penetration while still having enough surface to baton.

I had gone to Blade West thinking that I should get two more Sarsquatches. Skunk said he had several and so I was just wandering around the show and when I got back to the table and asked for one I found out that he sold out.

It would be a cool variation if some were made without the clip so they woud go easier on a baton.

.

Yes, I like that idea. We need some without the false edge:thumbup:
