I like to break away from the usual designs and try something alittle more challenging. I may or may not add this to my line but thought i'd share a few pics. It's a small 3" blade, 1/8" thick O1 steel with a half tang in a slotted piece of elk that will be epoxied and pinned. It has a brass guard/bolster and the end of the handle is capped with brass sheet pinned on.

I like that for an EDC. Maybe not in the woods, but around town or at work/home/in the shop I think it would be just fine.

I have a Becker Necker I like a lot; I think your knife would do the same kinds of tasks very well and look a lot better doing it.

Whether or not you decide to add it to your line-up... I think you are on to something with this design, maybe see where it goes! -Matt-

I like it! The butt angle is at the same usefull angle as puukkos for reverse grip thumb control. I haven't recieved my tax refund yet:thumbup:

Thanks guys. The biggest problem is getting the handle material. Elk is hard to come by and sambar stag is outragously expensive.

The same knife could also look really nice in some figured wood, or whatever. It's a solid design that you could dress up or down however you want.
