I have finally decided to take the plunge and buy an esee 4 but im looking for the best deal... everyone that has decent prices seems to be backordered.. i want the 4 plain edge black with the molle back without the modified pommel. anyone know a site for around $100? I have been checking knifeworks.com for like a week and they still dont have them in... grrr angry.

+1 for Dale at The Knife Connection. I have used Knives Ship Free as well and have only good things to say about Derek's service, but when I ordered my 4 Dale was the only place I could find the exact model I wanted (Black plain edge ESEE 4 with rounded pommel and Kydex sheath with molle locks).
You may have to just bite the bullet and order from a place that is backordered and wait it out. I ordered a 4 from Dale last Tuesday night. He received it on Friday and shipped it the same day, and it was in my hands by Monday.

Thatki, just be sure when you do order to request the Molle back. The ESEE's are packaged several different ways and it's easy to order the wrong piece. I have made a habit of having the order read back to me by the vendor just to avoid any miscommunication. My latest purchases came from Knifeworks and were executed flawlessly, great people.
