Looking for something between 3-4". Nice handle that feels good in the hand. I recently purchased a blur and really love it. I like tantos but it doesn't have to be a tanto blade. Budget is ~100-150

I'm considering a kershaw emerson colab, but undecided. Never tried a spyderco.

Check out some of the Kizer designs. They have some very interesting knives in that price and size range that might speak to you.

3 to look at:

Griptilian upgrade - too similar to what you have now?
Buck CSAR folder - if you want some basic toughness in the DNA.
DPx HEAT - tough and kind of classy.

For tanto CRKT and Cold Steel of course.....

For me Spydercos are like Graymans in that you have to like the overall look first....good knives though.

Benchmade Griptilian, especially the KnifeWorks exclusive RSK MK1 Grip in M390 steel.

Spyderco Paramilitary 2

Zero Tolerance ZT0566 or ZT0566BWCF, a Kershawguy exclusive.

Spyderco VALLOTIN sub hilt is a great knife. Good steel opens like buddah and solid feel in your mitts. I like the grind too. Out of 40+ knives it gets carried couple times a week.

Can't really go wrong with a PM2 or a Grip, both really good knives for your price point.
You should watch and read some reviews on both....

Get yourself a PM2 & Kershaw CQC-6K...you'll still be under budget!

Grabbed an xl voyager. Next purchase will probably be an Emerson kershaw. Decided to go bigger this time. Griptillian is too similar to the blur honestly. Spyderco endura seems more my thing then pm2.
