Trying to decide (one of those threads again)

I want to pull the trigger on an emerson. I like the design of the Commander series the most but now I'm trying to decide between a full sized Commander(black PE blade) or a satin finished combo edged mini com. I would prefer a PE mini comm but they don't have those in stock.

I currently edc a ZT 0350 so the weight of a full sized commander isn't off putting( the 0350 is around 5.5 oz).

In stock where? I just found a MiniComm Black PE for $140 shipped on the first site I checked.

The Mini is about the same size as the 0350 and weights less actually, so if you like the size go with the Mini.

Can you post a link?

I should've mentioned in the OP that I'm in Canada(Vancouver). A lot of places I've checked based out of the U.S. won't ship to Canada.

Ahh, that changes things, no sense in me posting the link, they ship US only. You could post a WTB (Want To Buy) thread here and see if someone has what you're looking for.

Otherwise keep looking, if your mind is set on something, don't just settle for whatever is convenient at the time or you'll be disappointed in the long run.

Well so much for patience. After watching a couple of review vids on the commander, I pulled the trigger and ordered one. It's the same length as my Endura so I'm not too concerned about it being to big.

LOL! I wish I never got into knife collecting.

Well, you lasted a little while:D I have a full size Comm. I think you'll like it, weight wise its about the same as the 0350 but you get some more blade and handle out of it:thumbup:

So it turns out the Commanders are out of stock BUT........they just received a few of the desert cqc 7V's in so I ordered one of those.
