Looking for a knife to keep in my truck as well as backup for my hunting knife, Winkler Blue Ridge Hunter. All three have the same steel.

My in-truck back up used to be a rusty tire iron.

In a blade, you could keep under the seat, about anything up to and including a Machete or large Kukri.

My seriously intended suggestion would be to get a duplicate of your "hunting knife". You already like it and you are comfortable with it.

I also voted Bk16. I like the Esee 4 as much as anybody else. Just prefer the ergos of the Becker better..

out of your 3 choices... likely the esee : )

but for myself, ontario machete in 1075 steel, good tough stuff for any truck... can easily touch up edges with river stone or coffee mugs ; )

I carry an Ontario karambit, that is a 1/4” thick and a hammer polled tomahawk, but I do agree get what is comfortable for you. Just as a comment I wouldn’t have too expensive of a bladed weapon cause sometimes things disappear.
