Trying to figure out what Case whittler I had

Just reminising. I bought a Case whittler back in 1969. It was small or medium, cost @ $15, and I think it had reddish scales. I lost it while creek fishing @ 79.

Did you lose it in 1979 or at age 79?

So far, I can say a red bone Case whittler made in or before 1969.

Three blades or 2?

Could have been several varieties of split back whittlers or a half whittler.

Great knives either way...sorry for your loss

Lost it in 79. It was a three blade whittler. I'm thinking about picking up a new one (if they still make it) and starting to creek fish again. I remember the salesman telling me that some people collected Case knives and that if I waited until the next year I could get me a real 'collectable'. The more I think about it, the more I think it was the small whittler. I'm pretty sure the clip blade was by itself on one end.
