Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out a good sling bag for me. I've looked at several such as the Maxpedition Monsoon but that's outside of the price range that I'm looking at.

Here's the criteria:

- Under $100. Preferably around $50 - $75 or so
- Must be in black
- Molle please
- Large enough to fit a 13" Macbook

Thanks guys!

Maybe the 5.11 MOAb 10 (think thats the number). All the criteria you mentioned, but it is exactly 100.00. I know LApolicegear has them, and a nice video showing you all the features of it. I am going to get one for larger diaper bag than my current Maxped Typhoon.

Spend the extra money and get the Maxpedition.

You'll be glad you did. It's what you really want, and you'll eventually just get one anyway.

+1 on the Maxpedition. I have the Sitka and absolutely love it. Very comfortable to carry and I am able to pack all of my EDC needs in it without a problem. Plenty of area for Molle attachments as well.

To be perfectly honest, the Maxpedition really wasn't what caught my fancy. If anything, I probably would prefer the Hazard 4 Evac B or something along those lines. I just can't really see how I would justify spending $125 or so on a backpack. It's also why my ideal price range is between $50 and $75.

The hazard 4 bag is pretty cool, I'd almost say just get that except it doesn't fit your computer...
As it is, I have to agree with everybody else, Maxpedition is the way to go if you absolutely have to have that style of slingbag. You could check out the gear for sale and wanted to buy sections and see if anybody has a deal on a nice used one?

eta: google search "Condor sling bag." Not sure if that's quite what you're looking for, but it does meet your criteria. Good luck :)

+1 on maxpedition.. I have a sitka also and I tried going for cheaper bags first. I ended up getting a sitka because in the end thats what I wanted in the first place and everything else that was similar either wasnt manufactured well or didn't suit my needs fully.

If you are going to go cheap on a bag, then you will get what you pay for in the end.
