Do you have a full picture of the knife with the mark in question ?

anyway someone can point me to his site? I really want to see if I can find this knife. It is exactly what I am looking for which is an Offset big belly Damascus hunting / field knife

It doesn’t look like he has a dedicated site for his knives. Also, he has become a TV personality so I would guess it will probably very difficult and expensive to get ahold of one of his handmade customs.

Ok Buck n Bear knives has same logo as baker blade. Did Dave baker sell his mark?

anyone know about BucknBear.com knives?

man they have my knife. But I don’t want to buy a piece of crap. I use my knives.
Today’s Damascus needs to be heat treated properly I don’t want something gonna break.

Ok BucknBear is much more fitting of the knife you posted.
It really didn’t add up to being a David Baker blade. The photo was pretty bad but the damascus pattern just doesn’t match up with being Bakers work. I found another Baker Blades that uses a very similar if not the same mark but the knife you pictured doesn’t match their work either.

I don’t know anything about BucknBear but I’d be leery of what you think you are getting for under $100. Give them a try if you want, you could always inquire as to where the blades are produced.

Found rheum to be imported and from Pakistan

damn man too good to be true - damn too gooders...

oh well restarting my search thanks guys for all the help!

They are not damascus pattern but take a look at the Camillus Bushcrafter and Condor Tool & Knife Scalper. They may be what you are looking for but they maybe close enough to scratch the itch.

It's for sure BucknBear. I've never noticed how direct their mark is with Baker's. Pretty sketchy honestly. I've heard a lot of things about them, not very good things either. I've also had one of their knives long before I knew anything about knives. Nothing shore of junk honestly, and thats not just me pooping on them blindly. It's just one of those things. My advice would be to steer clear of them for good and continue your search elsewhere.
