Trying to find the age on a knife

I have a boy scout knife that l think is a Camillus c1047. Looks mostly like one but the pins on the handles are not the same. It only has one pin per side for the handles and all the others I've seen pictures of have three pins. One center, one on each end. It's a fairly old knife, and the short flat fronted blade is convex from sharpening a lot. The other two look good. Patina but no harm. I'm wondering if it's an older knife, or newer, or a fake or sorts. Camillus over New York, USA is stamped on the main blade and the scout emblem is inbedded in the handle. Thanks for any information on it.

I have no ability to send pictures. Under the Camillus on the tang it has a long line. I saw something about lines somewhere but I don't understand what was proposes. Short line, no line, then someone mentioned long line but with no explanation. Sorry about pictures. I'm just going to whittle with it.

I've looked at the tang stamps and it shows 70-86 I think. I am more concerned in knowing why the knife has only one handle pin instead of the three shown on c1047 knife pictures. Looks exactly like them but for the single handle pin.

It could have been rehandled: it's easier to glue the handles on and only replace the pin that go's through the backspring from one side to the other.
