I forgot about this knife until I saw something while browsing here...anyway, I spotted the knife at a gun show here in town a few weeks ago. It looked like a Microtech, but I didn't play with it or confirm if it was even an auto. The blade was a tanto, I think, or maybe a drop/spear point. Anyway, it had oval cutouts in the blade like what Microtech does a lot of times, and the handle was black, looked like aluminum. Somewhere on the knife was engraved M-16 or M-6 or M-something. (Sorry, I didn't jot notes down and this is a couple weeks later). It looked like if it was an auto that it would open to the front (OTF), and there was a little tab of metal on the front just like in this photo of a Dalton auto (thanks, Bladewiz....I hope you don't mind me using your pic!) on Bladewiz's site (sorry, can't post the pic...here's the link: http://www.geocities.com/bladewiz/concealex.html ). I've never seen a Microtech in person and I was wondering if thisis, in fact what it was, or if maybe it was just a knock-off of some type.

There you go. M-9! I figured it was something between 1 and 20!

Are all Daltons customs? This was a pretty low-rate knife show, so it surprised me to see a custom like that. There were a few other nice customs around, but nothing great. I should've asked what his price was! The same dealer had a real BM Balisong in mint condition and was selling it for $150 or something like that, then there were either two VERY low quality (bottom of the line) BM's next to it or they were possibly knock-offs (looked like crap) and he said "I'll give ya either of those for $125"...what a deal! Dalton M-9. Any value to one of them?
