Trying to identify a blade - “Pat 1926 Milwaukee”

I found this thing in my dad’s stuff. What you think it is for??? Pretty sharp

The Blade separates for some reason and it says “pat 1926 Milwaukee”

I’ve searched everywhere I can think of online and I can’t find anything like it
