I was cleaning out some old boxes of junk and stumbled upon a Spyderco knife that I bought probably 25 years ago. It is completely made of stainless and has no model on it.

Is there any place that has pictures of old Spydercos and the models? Also would I be able to send it back to the company to have them reprofile the blade and clean it up a bit?

Wow, That didnt take long at all. Thank you very much.

It is the hunter model. 1983 Do these things have any value to collectors?

Yes, just follow the instructions noted here under "Repair".

Not really, unless it was like new, with the original box.

Are the outside edges of the handle beveled or a 90º angle? Is there a lanyard hole?

Deacon,

I don't believe it has a lanyard hole but I will check when I get home.

I guess I will just through it back in the box and my kids will get it when I take a dirt nap. I just figured if someone that collects them was interested it is probably not that easy to find the early models.
