I'm trying to pick between the 940, 710, or mini onslaught. Do you have any additional insight that can help differentiate them, or to pick one over the rest? Or should I consider a different model altogether?

I've ruled out the griptilian, as I don't want that plasticy handle.

Thanks in advance for your input!

The griptilian now exists with G10 handles and good steels options if you can reach the price level for that configuration and it is clearly a very good BM knife
Maybe have a look at the Voli which is a good knife too

That being said I of the 3 models you listed my preference goes for the 940

The 710 is a very good knife but i have never found te motivation to get it... maybe it is a little too big for me or the design is not my thing....

I like the design of the mini onslaught a lot but I am not a fan of how it carries in the pocket.

The 940 is a lot of blade for such a slim and light knife. Change the clip for a BM deep carry clip and it disappear in your pocket
The 940-2 may be the way to go
My first was a 943 and i have now a 940-1
IMHO one of the best urban EDC I have

Another 94x vote......I'd most likely go for a 943. Like the blade profile more, but I do have a few 940s.
710 is an amazing knife, I have 2. Never handled a Mini Onslaught.
Good luck!

I've got all three and I'd say the 940 is the most versatile of the bunch. Of my 940, 940-1, and 940-2 I prefer the 940-2.

The 710 is HUGE, so if that's what you want, get one before the supply runs out. Overall, you'll never hear a person complain about the 94X.

Here's a size comparison. Hope it helps.

I love the 710, yet the 943 carries almost the same blade length in a much slimmer and lighter package. The 94x series is my choice also.
