Trying to remember name of a knife.

Not so long ago, I cam across a pocket knife that was very innovative in it's opening, locking and different open positions it could be in. It was similar to crkt rollock in that the blade could slide up or down. The neat thing is that it had two open positions. One was when the blade was at the end of he handle, which is conventional for folders. Interestingly, the other was when the blade was in this conventionally opened position, the blade, without being folded to be closed, could be slid back into the handle, covering the spine of the blade in the handle while giving you just the edge of the blade out of the side of the handle. The blade was a very wide profiled crescent moon shaped blade. I wish I had pictures to post, but I don't remember where I saw it and I no longer remember the name!!! Can anyone help identify this mysterious folder? I think it was by boker or buck or something. Any help will be great. Thanks!

I'm new to bladeforums and don't know how to attach pictures so I'll provide a link to a picture of a knife which had the same shape to the folder I'm trying to remember.

Sounds like the Blade-Tech U.L.U. There is a link below to the knife and a couple of videos.

that seems kinda cool, but can someone tell me what the intended use for that is? i could see myself slicing a leg artery on accident lmao

Yup they work great for clean animal hides and are also great in the kitchen with a proper ulu cutting board for chopping veggies, herbs and whatever else.

I knew a guy said a Ulu blade was the only thing that worked good skinning gators. They weren't folders though.Otherwise he used razor blades clamped in a vise grip.
