Im sitting here with my strider SnG and edge pro apex. I set my edge using the black marker method, and that worked great for the back half of the blade. Once I get to the front half, it seems like its a different angle than the back. What should I do? Should I take the 120 stone and reprofile the front so it matches the angle at the back?

That's what I would do. It should be a V grind, how far off is it really? If it isn't far off then it shouldn't be any problem.

Once you have checked your set-up, and confirmed by close inspection that the bevel grinds are indeed different, then just work out what needs to be done to even them off (if that is what you want) and then do it.
Unless things are badly wrong then you won't really be taking off much metal.

My Strider SMF came with about 40 degrees-inclusive edge bevels on the straight portion of the bevel, but the curve up to the tip was more obtuse than 40 degrees. I've seen comments from other Strider owners with the same observation.

If you're trying to install a continuous edge bevel of 30 degrees-included, you're looking at removing a lot of steel.

Thats how mine is. The curve up to the tip is more obtuse. I dot really want a 30 degree in included bevel. I would like a at least a continuous 40 degree bevel.
