Trying to walk off a hangover today !

Boy was I in rough shape this morning, drank about a gallon too much beer at a Halloween party last night !!!

Took the dogs a walk in the hope of shaking off the hangover.

I love the colours of fall !

Anyone know what this fungi is ?

As it was so wet today I decided to practice a little firelighting~

Hangover is nearly gone now which is good news as I have big bottle of Chestnut beer waiting in the fridge !!!

Looks like a Flat-topped Coral(clavariadelphus truncatus). Wonderfully mushroom, one of the few mushrooms that have a sweet taste to them.

LOL...me and the Mrs both agreed on that yesterday. Hangovers used to last an hour or two when I was younger, nowdays they last all day.....old age sucks !!!!

I too was nursing a Halloween party hangover yesterday.

Unfortunately when I woke up I was sent out by Mrs. Beanbag to shovel the white stuff, not stroll through the green stuff like you.

They used to say that eating a bunch of bread and butter while drinking would take the spark out of the resultant hangover, but I am inclined to think that time is the best remedy. The body just can't burn it off that fast. We can slurp the beer/wine down faster than the body can metabolize it!
