Been searching through forums and can't find wad i'm looking for. K anyway was thinking of getting a AUS 6 TS...This TS can it split wood not huge logs or similar, but more like 3"-4" dimeter poles by batoning?will it hold up??Also is it possible to grind off serations and how to go about doing it?
thankz

Wadly,

The tigershark can definitely split 3"-4" dimeter poles by batoning (Trust me I've done it;)). In fact it was only a few days ago that I chopped down an old dead tree of about 6" in diameter with my tigershark and it only took me about 11 minutes(not to mention the fact that the wood had no rot and had hardened over the years:eek:)

As for removing serrations, I remember searching the archives and reading about someone who did it, just can't remember where.

Hope this helps,
Socintel

haha kk just asking and AUS6 is quite okay...used my pup to cut up my lunch...haha...was really easy

a Tigershark is a fantastic knife and tool for the outdoors (and indoors too) !! I always have it with me in the great outdoors.

Up till now I've only tackled 4" tree limbs with mine, and based on what socintel has to report, now I'll have to go find a 6" diameter tree limb and experiment even more !!

Cheers,

Carl
