Its a big one :D

Heavier than I expected--weighs about 5.25 oz, give or take (kitchen scale).

Texturing isnt as aggressive as I expected but it feels nice in hand. Seems like a great knife for heavy work, especially if you wear gloves.

Fit and finish seems pretty good. Plenty of clearance between blade and spacers. Axis lock feels right for a brand new bm--not extremely smooth but it opens easily. Razor sharp--slices paper and shaves arm hair easily. The only thing I dont like is how the blade tip doesnt sit very deeply in the handle.

Post your pics if you got one! Comparison shots are always cool

Mine should be here by weeks end. I think they did a nice job on these. I'm a die hard 800/806 fan, but the 805 is a real close second!

Nice pics and impressions. Mine should be arriving tomorrow. Can't wait!

Already read a couple complaints about really off centered blades, but yours looks quite nice.

Do you have a shot of the spine showing the knife as a whole with the blue barrel spacers?

I have these two pics of the spine with the knife open, but i didnt fit the whole blade in.

Thanks for the pics. I think I would have preferred the original (as requested/specified, IIRC) silver spacers. They look a bit out of place being the only blue thing on there.

Still, a very nice knife overall, IMO.

One of the last great Benchmade designs in my opinion. I still have an old 440C bladed version. Unfortunately, it's beat all to Hell. Yep, it was a hard user for $89 when I bought it.

Wow, those look great. I haven't really been paying much attention to benchmade because of all the other awesome knives coming out, but I may have to get one of these too. The addiction continues.

I still have two original 440C TSEKs, and I'm glad to see the design is back in production. I carried one of the TSEKs as my main EDC for a few years and it held up very well. It might be my favorite BM design.

I don't think it's back in production.

These are a special run.

I paid the $20 deposit, and then I decided to put it off a while because of the weight I found at BM, which was 4.1 ounces. Now that you say it is a full ounce heavier, I'm going to go ahead and get it. I do not like lightweight knives.:)

My fovorite knife is a Mini TSEK I have had for many years. I still carry it. I love the 440C. I sure like the looks of that one!
