As promised, here is my 2 cents worth on these two folders. I just got my BEAST in today, I have had the Grayman for a couple of months. First, the basic specs on each:

Grayman:
titanium lock side, green g10 presentation side
3 inch s30v blade, .165 thick spear point stone wash finish
torx screw construction
275$

TSF:
Full titanium handle
3 inch elmax blade, .157 thick spear point stone wash finish
torx screw construction
300$

I was not able to change anything about the Grayman when I ordered it, though he does offer several versions of the knife including 3 g10 colors and a carbon fiber and all titanium set up. TSF let me change some details, including the shape of the blade and the position of the clip. I also deleted the water cut texturing because I prefer the smooth titanium handles. He does offer IKBS also, but I elected for the washers since the servicing is easier.

I have not used either one hard (in fact since I just got it all the TSF has done is open a box) but they are both built like tanks. They both lock up early and tight with no blade play. They both open and close very smoothly, with strong detents. The TSF is easier to open with one hand.

The grayman is super sharp now, but came with a "working edge" so I had to wicked edge it. The BEAST came with a razor edge as I requested. The blade thickness and grinds are almost identical, so their cutting performance should be very close. Elmax is a superior steel, but I personally like s30v a lot.

The handle on the grayman is much better. The edges are smooth and the jimping on the spine is very good. The edges and end on the TSF are a little sharp, especially if you grip the knife firmly. I like the g10 on one side better, but that is a personal preference and the all Ti handle works fine too.

I like spearpoint blade shape, I ordered the BEAST with that blade. It normally comes with a clip point style blade. I will have to do a full cutting test later, on the surface they are almost identical.

Fit and finish gives another point to the grayman. Smoother edges as I already mentioned, and the blade is centered. The BEAST has a blade that is off, though it does not rub. (but very close)

Overall, they will both fill your needs for a hard use folder well. The TSF beast is more customizable (clip, texturing, blade shape, pivot),and comes with a superior steel. However, the grayman comes with some choices and should fit your needs.
Out of these two, I have to go with the Grayman for the fit and finish and the lower cost. I will carry them both the next few weekends and see which one I end up using more often.

Anybody else have experience with both???

I have both of them, too, the dua is full ti handles. i also like the dua a little better, but i like the simplicity of the tsf, too. i also like the grippy thumb lugs on the tsf. i emailed tsf & got a second lug & thread so i have a double set up,being a lefty.i smoothed out the edge on the dua, too, did not like that toothy edge at all. cuts much better now, too.you cant go wrong with either knife, they are both real cool. One other nice thing i like about my beast folder, i got it on the exchange for 185,which is a steal .....

wow....great price! I just finished cutting up some boxes, the beast has a snag in the blade I will try to take out.
