We were at daughter's house for Super Bowl yesterday. While we were between card games and the other game. Son in law got out the TSPRO he's been telling me about. I took my 118 Pro and let him work that machine's magic on it. Started at 120 and progressed through 600, with a lot of attention to developing and removing burr at each stage. Took him a while - maybe 45 minutes - but that knife is now as sharp as anything I've ever personally experienced. I'm sharpening equipment tight - since I typically freehand - but man if I wanted a guided system, that one would get a real hard look. Not cheap, but seeing it firsthand and considering the results, the price doesn't seem out of line. Nice tool, very nice with precision adjustments and it's clearly built to last. I liked it a lot.
