Some great deals on these over the weekend and I could not resist pulling the trigger on one. My first "real" sharpener will be on the way soon. Very excited after reading all the posts here on sharpening systems. This is the previous generation without the digital angle cube and stone holder. The price difference between the two was too much for me to opt for the 2022 version. I think this will more than suite my needs.

Do most users find a need for the convex attachment? I forgot to include it in m th initial order. If not critical I might hold off until I need it.

Hold off. Get the feel of your new sharpener before you get swept up in the " I Must Have That Add On Rip Tide ". You will be out of your depth and swept out to sea in no time otherwise. And broke.

I picked one up my self arrived yesterday. The basic diamond set the came with it seems ok, I know many users like the venev double sided is the still good, I saw they have more CBN offerings out.
