Is there a press release or video explaining what is new and better than the K03?
You can buy those clamps now, they're the quick release versions that released late last year, I put a pair on my KO3, they are a little finicky, as the quick release lever will line up in strange orientations when you actually clamp a blade, but nice to not have to use a tool to adjust, even though the hex heads are silly simple on the whole mill clamps. Is there a press release or video explaining what is new and better than the K03?
It looks as if it has 2 rack & pinion vertical adjusters nested in each other. If so, I wonder if that is why they went back to a metal adjustment assembly when the later K03's moved to polymer.
The clamps look like they have an over-center toggle lever instead of a pinch bolt but it's hard to tell. It is probably a combination of the two like a bicycle axle quick release.
But it appears as if it still doesn't have a way to put a clamp dead center on the clamp bar. I know it rarely matters if the clamp is centered, but there are enough aftermarket parts to offset the clamps that I expected their next model to have that feature.
Looking at the model, it appears as if there is a new slide assembly built into the geared assembly for the purpose of thickness compensation. There appears to be a collar attached to the front of this slide and a nice flat spot underneath it to drop your stones. Here is a nice 3D image of it:

The K03 coarse adjustment rod still appears to be present, just shortened and locked in place with the lever on the back.
Thank you for posting this! Looking forward to playing with one at Blade Show!
