After watching the video twice, I'm fairly confident that I can do it, now.:thumbup:

how did he learn to do that. & where did he get the tools and stuff. makes me feel pretty humble knowing that there is a level of expertise ,craftsmanship and art that i
cannot even begin to aspire. truly amazing and i thank you for sharing.

An absolutely amazing amount of talent. That was awesome to watch. Thanks for posting the link.

Man, that is incredible. It gives me a whole new level of respect for guys like Stacy.

Truly amazing work...

Speaking of work, I have no idea what you would charge for that piece

I'm sure these figures won't do it justice, but he mentioned it being over a 4 month journey, so just for fun ...8hr days, maybe 35.00 a hour (probably way low) 22 working days in a month (average) x 4 months is a modest $24,640...being a special piece what would that increase it?? Another $10,000, $20,000...just curious.

Anybody else have an Idea ....Maybe I'm off by a 1/4 mill... I just have no idea??

Well worth watching, guys, especially if you are ever thinking about getting into engraving or carving. Very, very inspiring. Thanks for posting it.

That was great. I have been working on a Katana for about 2 1/2 years now and almost have the blade finished. This gives a great idea of how the Tsuba should be done. though I don't see mine being that fancy.
